yes it can, and very nicely I might add.
a floating floor doesn't get fastened down, it gets fastened to itself, so basically it's a big jigsaw puzzle. As long as you have the ability to make the cuts around the perimeter (leaving a quarter-inch gap to allow movement) it will look beautiful. Here's a tip: undercut your doorjambs so that the flooring can slide underneath instead of trying to cut around them.
