You'll always be her friend but as we age and go into different directions we sometimes create distance between us and our old friends. If you are a good friend to her let her venture out and follow her path in life. Just make sure you get her email so you guys can still have lunch or just so you can talk online. I still talk time to time with my friends from high school and catch up and its been 12 years since I graduated. We all grow up and follow different paths but your true friends will always still be there for you, even if its just an occasional email. Dint be sad, you ll also make new friends all through-out your life :)

If you feel the need to control your friends, then you are the one who isn't being a good friend. Support her in all her decisions, be a good friend yourself, and you will be much more likely to have a lasting friendship.

Of course she is your friend!
She is going off and starting a new life. You'll always be her friend, but she will have new ones.
Have you ever heard the saying "Make new friends, but keep the old...one is silver and the other gold."

I think you should just straight up ask her what is goin on. If ya put her on the spot, you're more likely to get an honest answer, and you do need to know.

You'll find out soon enough. If she's truly your friend she'll make an effort to stay in your life. If you never hear from her again, she wasn't a good friend.

ask her! it's ok to say that you think of her as a good friend and you would hate to see that friendship end.

I think she is still your friend, but if you have questions about it you need to ask her.
