If the popularity of them is even a factor in determining who you "hook up" with then maybe you need to take a second look at why and what you even want a relationship for.
That being said, get to know them both much better, you may find out one of them has a belief or quirk you don't like. Or you may move on and like someone else next week. Good luck!

But really how can you go with one fairly if you are also thinking about the other.
If you really want to choose one, weigh up the pro's and con's of what it is you like about each of them individually, stop seeing them as both the same.

try to get both people to hang out in a group with you(more than four total) watch how they interact with every one and with you.
As you get to know more about each person, one of them will most likely be more atractive to you.
