You can get anything you want at Paddys Markets,at Haymarket in the City or at Flemington. The Flemington Paddys Market is bigger.Or just wander around Darling Harbour,or the C.B.D. and you will find all sorts of stuff, but not as cheap as at Paddys. Duty free shops in the city and at the airport are vastly overpriced,as is everything at the airport, including the train.Suburban rail fares are cheaper and you can find shopping centres in the suburbs with plenty of stuff to buy at more reasonable prices.

Hey hey!! I was in Sydney myself last month! For cheap, good souvenirs, I would try Paddy's Market (the one at this place called Haymarket, near Chinatown), it opens on from thursdays to sundays, and they have really cheap souvenirs! Paddy's Market sells souvenirs like boomerangs, aussie keychains, kangaroo skin, etc at really good prices! Remember to ask for a discount (or lowest price) when buying even if the prices are labelled!

For the more artsy stuff (but much more expensive stuff), try Paddingtons Market (Opens only on certain days, I think it's either wednesday or Saturday, you need to check the guidebooks), and the Rocks Market (open on Sundays) near the Operahouse.. But be warned that the stuff here are much more expensive, though you get rather unique stuff you won't find elsewherel, like handmade jewellery, art pieces etc.

Enjoy your stay in Sydney! It's a beautiful city with great people! :)
