Someone told me its Seattle, and I just moved there. I hope its not true.

It depends... are you talking about numbers or "per capita" or even a longitudinal record over the span of say a decade's time. I have to admit I don't know the answer to any of these, but I heard Sweden has had its problem with that sort of thing. At any rate stay on your anti-depressants or other "somas" of choice and you'll be "right as rain..." which it does a lot of in Seattle. It's a brave new world, and you're one of it's many, many cogs... so stay well oiled!

Honestly I feel Japan as a country may lead the world in suicide seems every year too many youth kill themselfs due to the pressures placed on them by others just during High School placment test (yes a Test to place in the high school of choice). Also their cutlure is very honor based and if you bring discredit upon the "Family Name" suicide is a accepted option. Thanks God I haven't lived here long enought to becoem that Japanese but Sucide is looked at much different here than in the US. And Sorry to say but I think Yes Seattle may lead the US in suicides due to the "Culture" of the area.

Perhaps Seattle for the States. It would be same as Vancouver here in Canada due to the lack of sunshine and above average rainfall
