I have yet to hear a plan to actually DO anything
at least one that makes any sense.and other Democtats are quick to be against that too

I've noticed that democrats, especially the left-wingers, always put a negative slant on things. The unemployment rate dropped for x number of months in a row. Just today I heard Nancy Pelosi complaining saying wages are stagnant no matter how many people are employed . . . blah, blah, blah . . . Now, that's negative wouldn't you say? They're a very depressing and irritating party in my opinion. It seems they've an innate ability to spin the facts.

Look at it this way: The Republican party is in power (both houses of Congress, the White House, Supreme Court appointees, and many states). The Democrats can't seem to find a single voice for their party to overcome that hurdle. I don't think it's that they don't stand for anything, I think it's that they stand for many different (but related) things - so it comes out sounding like nonsense, even if much of their ideas are very very good.

Republicans have the President and the war to rally around. Democrats only have that to rally against (or so they think - I think it's bad strategy myself). Also, some of the things the party supports (more personal freedoms, withdrawing troops from Iraq, the UN) are pretty unpopular so they don't want to make those things their main message. It would be more honest, I admit, if they did.

The Democratic party stands for lots of things, they just don't seem to want to talk about any of them. It's a shame.

Wow, a one party country? That sounds pretty aweful to me. Kind of like Nazi Germany.
First of all, it is sure hard to do anything other than bash the president when he makes continual mistakes and missteps.
Second, they are the minority party, their job at the moment is to make sure the majority doesn't get away with murder.
Third, I seem to recall a whole lot of President bashing going on by the Republicans during the Clinton years
Fourth, the Democratic party stands for fair wages, affordable health insurance, equal rights for all, fair voting practices, i could go on and on. I think at this point, it is kind of like, "Why come up with a plan, when we have absolutely no power to get it acted upon. We are the minority, and the majority is filled with ruthless, self serving people who wouldn't support any plan of ours, so whats the freakin point" You know what I mean?

Obama is going to enhance the capital valuable homes tax to 20-eight%, Hillary isn't fantastically planning to enhance it yet when she did it will be a lot less. Hillary helps a gas tax suspension, Obama is antagonistic. Hillary has taken a strong stance on Hamas, Iran and nationwide protection. Obama has been susceptible on the topic and a lot less authoratative. Her domicile foreclosure plan is extra aggressive than Obama's. even as widespread healthcare is going to be problematic to bypass or settle for - the purely way for it to technically artwork is that if all of us is on board rapidly to force expenditures down. Obama has no theory a thanks to be president or what it includes. There comes as no marvel that once Hillary presented eco-friendly collar jobs, some months later Obama does. even as she presented a second stimulus plan - Obama presented one some weeks after. the purely element Obama can provide is self-proclaimed replace and his solutions might want to not certain and he starts occurring a tirade about fixing Washington. even if the actuality is all his political existence he has had particular pastimes and lobbyists. This campaign he doesn't take money from lobbysits right away and then determined he's replace, even as his campaign is being run by using lobbyists and he's getting thousands and thousands from companies executives and board of directors. EDIT: And if people question Hillary's adventure even as bill become governor and president - are you able to tell me how this female knows a lot about the commercial equipment then?

I too, having only heard the complaints. The only whining seems to be global warming (not proved to exist), safety of country (without military use - good trick) & that they will stop raising our taxes if they are in office (is that a threat that they will if not in office)" The Against Party - The Democrats" seems like a great slogan for 2008. Sure to outlive the "can you hear me now" slogan.

Clearly you are not "working for coins" if you can make a comment like that...I personally am. I had nothing against Reagan when he was in office, I am, however, anti presidents with pre-office vendettas. When I vote, I don't always vote a straight ticket, due to the fact that I'm open minded...that was a pretty broad statement.

OH AND I'M SURE YOU'RE LOOKING SO HARD...

sorry that Fox News doesn't show you things that you don't want to see... hahaha...

it's like sitting in a cave complaining that the sun doesn't shine... it could help if you actually stuck your head out of the cave and looked yourself...

there are many plans out there, but you know that you don't care, and I know that you don't care... so I'm not going to waste my time listing them...

ok... I'll waste my time with just one cite, just to prove you wrong... but there are many more out there... anyone with a brain can find them (wait a minute, maybe that's why you can't find them?... just kidding)

http://oneamericacommittee.com/ .. this site goes over some of the ideas/plans that john Edwards has... but why should you look? It's so much easier to just sit there and say we have no plan... hahaha

the democratic party lives on emotion much more true issues and fact. we will never be a one party government. but always look into what each party stands for and how they bring it to the public. liberals always have a viscious rhetoric about there issues that seem to always get personal and off the subject

yOU KNOW, I'VE BEEN WONDERING ABOUT THAT FOR YEARS!!!

Sorry for shouting but I couldnt help myself. As far as I can tell, the Dem. Partys main goal is to get re-elected so they can take more of your money away from you and give it to someone who doesn't want to work for it. They want the gov. to tell everyone how to live, what to eat, when to sleep, ect, ect, ect.
Mainly, I believe they should be called the opposition party because they seem to be apposed to everything that would accomplish anything.
