hard rock started in the 60's, when your 43 year old woman would have been in the single digits. So she grew up with it. So of course..
The real shame is that "hard rock" now has to expand its definition to accept bands like godsmack & megadeath.

It's not uncommon or rare to see older people listening to hard rock and metal music. It all depends on the person and how they percieve the music. Have you heard of the granny that spends all of her day playing video games? There's many like them. You can bet there's a lot more 40yr old+ who love the same music you do.

Abso-freakin'-lutely! I've got 10 years on you and I love rock and roll!
Put another dime in the jukebox, baby!
I like everything from classical to Green Day. Love metal and hard rock. There's so much great music out there.

sure, your as young as you feel. i am 46, and love disturbed, godsmack, and most other metal bands. i even go to their concerts when they come to the town i live in, and have a great time. i do get some strange looks from some of the younger crowd sometimes, but remember, they will be 46 one day, so who really cares what they think!!!.

Heck Ya! You go mamasita! I am 32 & I still love this kind of music. I just know not to take all the lyrics seriously now & I had to ease up on listening to this kind of music in front of my 4 year old as he repeats EVERYTHING now. But I say more power to you & ROCK ON!

We aren't dead yet! LOL. I am 49 and still go to hard rock concerts. I love the music, it is some of the crowd I could do without. But what has changed. LOL.

sure y not just 'cause they are from a different era doesn't mean that they have to like 'their' era music...besides...grunge came out in the 90's and that woulda made the old broad only 27 back then, which is still pretty young to like the x music...
