no, i couldn't.i have a very gentile spirit that sympathizes with everybody;whether they be right or wrong.when i see my own sins i committed,i cannot condemn someone for their own ignorance.of course, i am not saying we should just let criminals get a jail-free card;rather what i mean is that criminals should have the chance to obtain redemption for their crimes.if you have a child that does very horrible things to his sister,do you automatically call the police and throw away the key.of course not,its easier to push people away in our society, rather than pull people up by their bootstraps.if we deny criminals their redemption, don't we deny our inhumanity? we will be judged for every measure we judge,if not in this lifetime, the latter.we are not very off from becoming Rome.than again, that is another story, for another time.peace,my friend, until the next time...
God Bless

No, no, no, with great difficulty, no, and only in trivial matters (but I always feel guilty afterwards).
If someone deserves death, then death is too good for them.
Death sentences turn criminals into victims. That's unfair on the real victims.
However, in war, I could shoot someone dead, in theory, even perhaps in a firing squad situation. Had I been in front of Hitler, I hope I would have pulled the trigger. But there are so few cases where killing that person is unquestionably the right thing to do that I think it's better to apply proper justice every time. There is no hell. If they are to rot somewhere, it must be in this life.
On your last point, casting the first stone is very easy to do online in the mad rush to get your answer in first to some dweeb question. But it's never a good move.

yes and alot faster , and more often then its being done now. people know they can get away with murder do anything and at worst they go to jail . Don't have to work, get three meals all medical and dental is free no rent or bills what a life . If all crime after 18 years of age came with a death sentence. We would cut our taxes, and raise our children alot better.

Seems to me that if a person is being considered for the death penalty, THAT person is the one who cast the first stone.
With that said, yes, if someone intentionally took the life of an innocent child, mutilated, raped and terrorized that child prior to actually murdering them, I could do it. I'm not saying I would like to, or that I would enjoy it, but yes, I could do it.
Same as if an attacker was hurting me or my family, I would not hesitate to use my weapon to protect myself.

Yes, and this is a real answer. And I'd broadcast it on pay-per-view too. Until people learn the err of their ways, and that their crimes do indeed have penalties, "All that need happen for evil to triumph is for good men to stand by and do nothing." It wasn't JFK that originally said something like that but I think it was Edmund Burke.

if it was for murder, rape with bodily harm, child rape, yes i could very easily, and i wouldnt loose any sleep over it.the do a horrific crime they should pay dearly, and as far as the leathal ingection, saying they suffer, what about the people they killed who suffered. they should be hung, it takes 19 mins to die when there hung, the best way to punish them. besides beat them to death. i hate anybody whos hurt anybody, mostley children or women

You might portray me as heartless...but I would do every single one of these in a heart beat....and I wish I could pull the switch on a few people.
