I usually have been taking it between 9 or 10. I just started my pack two weeks ago and I am doing really bad at keeping track of time in the evenings. I usually wake up at 10 everyday so I wanted to switch to the morning. How would I go about doing that? Is it okay if I start doing that tomorrow? Also, I am going to London soon so would it be okay if I continued taking it at 10am eastern time in London? Will this effect my protection and will I have to wait 7 days until I'm fully protected again? Thanks

Yes you can change your pill time to the morning but you need to use a back up method of Birth Control (ie condoms) for at least 7 days after you switch the times. There is a possibility that you might get pregnant if you don't. I believe that London time is 5 or 6 hours ahead of you (3 or 4PM eastern time). While in London you will need to use condoms along with your pills for 7 days for extra protection.

Yes, you can switch up the times, so long as you remember to take it daily.

I had the same problem. My ob/gyn said that they tell you to take it at one time each day so that you remember to take it. Switching the time to a more convenient time is not a big issue.

I would wait until you are finished with the pack, and when you start a new one, go to the mornings....
And you should take it at the same time, so you would want to take it at the same time it is as where you live.......
