I have watched it like 50 or 60 times. My daughter has the DVD and the cd. The reason I watched it so much, it is better than letting her watch some of the other crap that is on TV. And to think I pay for some of that crap! I would also rather her sing the songs from this movie then anything like "my humps" or "don't cha" by whoever sings them.
Personally, I think it is a cute show for younger kids. My daughter is 6, and adores the show.

Everyone has watched High School Musical because of one of the following reasons:
1. That person is so bored of Yahoo Answers and has no life but to watch two stupid kids fall in "love".
2. Disney paid a magician to cast a hypnotic spell on the television that will automatically make one move the body and eyes to watch High School Musical
3. One's cat has eaten the remote and the knobs on the television have also been chewed off and there's nothing to distract you.
4. One is secretly jealous of one of the characters and idolizes their gaiety.

I've seen it once. It's an okay movie. It's definitely not the best Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM), but I've seen worse. However, I think the plot is kind of cliche.

I haven't watched it, nor am I planning too. It sounds stupid. It's just something else for tweenies to obsess over, they always need something meaningless like that.

YEAH ive watched it too.. nd its not annoyin~ how old r u ??? if ur like a teen then if ur thinkin its for kids well thats a no.. cuz high skool musical was really nice. ! the music.. the words .. nd the act ! it was great..... i ont care wat u think but i loved it ~
