I agree I just don't understand what is wrong with this world. The government can give someone a longer jail sentence for hitting a cop, and give a sexual predator a smaller sentence. I think people that do these disgusting crimes should not be able to live on the planet.

Let's take this reasoning to the logical conclusion.
Historically people who had committed ANY felony arelikely to commit one again.
Solution?
Let's go back to old English practice of hanging all felons.
This will be really cheap as well. We can close down all the prisons.
Misdemeanors will be publishable by fines and community service, and all felons are put death.
This will make justice system much simpler as well.
No more complex penal codes.
From now own it is like this:
Murder -- Death
Rape -- Death
Robbery -- Death
Grand Theft -- Death
Easy, cheap an effective. Rehabilitation never worked anyway.

the vast majority shouldn't be released in the end there predators and my experience with cons, ex cons is that they all ways look for a weak spot to to get you. I won't do much for most people who have been in and out of jail all there life. Ive given a lot of criminals and people all kinds of chances and assistance, in the end they only to double cross you because a lot of them want to get you first. If your nice to them they can't figure it out that your not looking for something, Ive had quite a few ask me why I do this fo them or what do I want and they really can't believe I'm just trying to be decent. All of them always looked at me with suspicion and never trusted me not that I cared if they did or didn't.
Coming to rapist, molesters etc only under certain conditions they can be released. The worse offenders need to be locked away for ever in the end there only predators and you can't change their minds. Maybe if they could come out with a pill that can intervene in the brain to stop those thoughts like the way antidepressants or anti-psychotic pills do to people then maybe they can be identified at a younger age given meds until they lose that urge or kept on meds for life.
I don't see why they couldn't come out with a tailor made med for those people with today's advances in science they're able to target certain area's of the brain like depression or schizophrenia so I can't see why something wouldn't come out in the next several years. Then useing brain imaging and other scans to help identify the severity of potential offendrs when the problem comes upthen give the proper treatment.

We should bring back public hanging for sex offenders. This offers the only foreseeable deterrent. After which offense to implement it is another question (2nd offense or 3rd time?). Too risky to hang first time offenders - could be a cruel ex making up bogus accusations.

I agree. And not only are some of them out, they are also free to live wherever they want. Who knows if we live next door to one. If they are to be out, they should be kept in one area, this way we know to avoid such places. I know that you can check their locations in the internet, but then again, why let them out so they can pry again on anybody? They should just be kept in prison or any kind of institution where they will be closely monitored.

Look at other people respond they do not provide links to support their claim like I m doing. with out support of their claim their commets are wortless
very rare for sex offender to do it again and I can prove it and this guy is only 1% of 100,000 of sex offender that don't do it again
* Within 3 years following their release, 5.3% of sex offenders (men who had committed rape or sexual assault) were rearrested for another sex crime.
this is under 1% people wake up

I completely agree that those anybody is heavily ill yet i do not agree that they belong in penal complex or psychological establishments. i believe they ought to all be "CASTRATED" and then despatched to an section the position they could't prey on absolutely everyone yet others like themselves.
