in my lower back does that mean i am contracting or dialating i was 2 centimeters yesterday and 50% efaced any answers?

wait ... if you do not have them on a regular basis, then it may just be that you twisted wrong. after all, you are carrying 20+ pounds of extra weight and your back is compensating. however, if you notice that they pains are coming every few minutes, then it just may be time. typically they begin very dull ... almost difficult to notice. and you'll notice your belly get rock solid at the same time as the cramping/pain. 2 centimeters is a good sign though.

You could be contracting. You could also be obscenely pregnant. At 9 months, everything in my body hurt. Unless it keeps up, your still playing the waiting game.

Sharp pain in your STOMACH - get to the ER asap.

I agree with the previous about waiting until contractions are regular...don't wait until they're 5 minutes apart like they tell you, though. If I had done that I would have had my first one at my house. Best advice hands down...when in doubt, call your OB.

usually any back pain means labor or something is happening during pregnancy at the end...labpr will feel like menstrual cramps...i would get checked or pack just in case!!! congrats

It could mean the baby could be turning and ready to pop out - go to doctor!!

back laber keep an eye on it because all off your laber might be in the back. call your docter and tell him whats up

it could be possible , put hands on belly to fell for contractions it will get real tight if you are , i used to be EMT on ambulance
