To treat all change as something to fear is bad enough; to do so in order to exploit that fear is much worse."

Because he's a liberal democrat. They either lie out right or they don't tell the whole truth about things as your example shows. He's playing the liberal heart strings and they are singing the tune because he wants to run again for President and those who made the movie want the same thing. Liberals do whatever they have to do to prove their point and lying is their favorite strategy.

If my understanding is correct. Scientists agree that global warming is probably occurring. What is most debated is if humans are at fault or not. I haven't paid much attention to what Gore is saying. We do a lot of bad stuff to our environment, global warming or not we should try to cut back some.
