The parents are KaTina and Michael Rogers they want to use Skye as a first twin girl name but wanted to have another girl name to use the dads name like Michaela but is it to used out we do not want that. Michaela is a beautiful name....but I must say that Skye is an awesome name too. My first kitty (who is on my lap right now!!) is named Skye.

My husband was also named Michael. I wanted to call our daughter Micah but he didn't want to. I think it was because he knew a girl by that name and didn't like her. I think Michaela is a bit long especially if the other one (Skye) is short. You could also use Michelle. I know a girl Michelle who goes by Mickey.

I love the name Skye, as well as Michaela. If you don't want to use Michaela, how about Kami or Mika as combinations of your names?

what if you spelled it Mikaela? Or something like that. I like it alot.
I also like Liora and Mia. Mia has three letters from Michael.
