Cephalopods like giant squid and giant octopi grow very quickly. A giant squid is no bigger than the size of a fingernail when born and can reach a length of 37 feet or possibly even larger than that. A giant octopus, and some species only have a lifespan of about two years or four years in some species, can reach a diameter with tentacles outstretched of 30 feet and again are tiny when they are born.

I don't know the exact species of whale but I'm pretty sure it's between the sperm whale and the blue whale.
