SInce I've never met any New York pimps I couldn't say, but out here in Nevada 50% is pretty standard house cut-depending on the brothel and the prostitute. I know of one girl who was so popular she kept 80%! I understand she's out of the business now and is finally using her law degree. Brothels that ask for more than 50% of the girls take usually don't stay in business long.
