What would you do?

What would you do if you stopped talking to one of your friends over the summer and then she asked your aunt what your problem was since you wont talk to her? Okay, she hasnt called me or anything either this summer, so its not just my fault that we arent that close anymore. She thinks that the world revolves around her and that nothing is ever her fault. What would you do? Say screw it and stop being friends, or just keep being friends with her and let her think that she can control me? Sorry if this is confusing!

Well, if she wants to know what your problem is with her, just explain how you have been feeling and let her know that you just got sick of feeling like that. Maybe she doesn't realize how she is and needs someone to tell her in a nice way. Good luck.

If you really feel she is controlling and thinks the sun should set on her then I would say get it out in the open and come clean...... If the two of you can work through the issues then great...... If she thinks she has no fault in it and you feel she has not been reasonable then walk out of it and see if she comes to her senses........ I hope the best for you........

my son is haveing the same problem with some of his friends. and what i told him was that maybe he need to stand back and look at the relationship and if everything is one sided maybe he needs to re-evaluate who his friend are. if you call this person for help is she right there? friend ships ahve 2 sides and if you are not getting what u put out then maybe your "friend" is a person using you for what ever then need. hope this makes sense to you.

friendship usually suffers during the summer if you don't live near each other. give it a rest and see how you feel when school starts.
