No one is ever really ready to have a child. It's a tough job and nothing can prepare you for it.
A lot of people think that being older and having more financial security makes raising children easier. That's not true.
I checked out your 360 page. You look ready to me.

How old are you? (I personally don't think anyone under the age of 18, at the very youngest, is ready to have a baby) How mature are you? Are you married or in a committed relationship? Are you emotionally ready? Are you financially ready? Those are things I would look at, but we need more info to answer this question specifically for you!

Why do people think you are not ready?
.. well...lets see now...
So who exactly do you want to have a child with? Its not just about what you want, its about what the child gets.
Your blog says you have fallen deep in love with Adam... but you bloged it June 18 2006... Is this the man you want to have a child with? A man you declare to the world you have been deep in love with for...
... 3 weeks?
I had known my wife for two years as a friend before we married and another two more years before we had children. I tend to think its your irrepressible certainty and girlish attitude to reality that causes people to question how ready you think you are.
Baby = Big cut on your club time...oooooo yea....

There are enough young mothers with no idea how to raise children out there.
With your attitude you're going to get a guy who offers to get you into the game but not there for the afterparty.
You really want to be a single mom, most likely living off the government just beacuse you were itching to have a real life Cabbage Patch Doll that just screwed up your body?
Think about it

1. you're under age
2. you're not married
3. you're financially incapable of supporting a child.
4. you have emotional problems
5. physically incapable
6. you are irresponsible
7. health problems
8. in my opinion... if lots of people think you're not ready then probably you're not. but if you really think you are then be very prepared and be responsible to face the consequences of your actions. we are talking about a life here.
