I'm not sure how old you are, but I had the same problem until I was about 24. I didn't have serious acne, the kind that is under the skin, but I had a lot of big outbreaks on the surface of my skin. If you have the deep kind, your dermatologist can prescribe some serious medication like acutane. However, if you have the topical kind, they won't give you that kind of strong medication.
I used to get so angry because my doctor acted like my acne was no big thing, even though to me it seemed like the end of the world. I guess he knew it would clear up in time.
Here are some tips as to how you can control your outbreaks, they were pretty effective for me.
1. Change your diet, cut out sugars and oily foods as much as you can. Drink plenty of water every day.
2. Wash your face in the morning and before bed with a trusted brand such as Neutrogena or Cetaphil. Don't wash your face more than that because you'll just strip it of the natural oils and cause it to become more irritated.
3. Try not to stress out about it too much- hormones play a huge factor.
4. Overnight, I sometimes put toothpaste on big zits to dry them out.
5. It's gonna seem hard, but don't pop them. It will cause scars and large pores later (trust me, I really regret this one. My pores are huge from the popping).
6. I found drinking herbal tea and sleeping on a herb-stuffed pillow really made a difference in clearing up my skin in the past year or two.
7. Lastly, no one is really staring at you and feeling grossed out about your pimples as you think. Pimples have plagued many a folk, and no one is judging you. So get a little self-confidence, remind yourself you're beautiful on the inside and out, and get on with your life. People are drawn to people who are confident in themselves, even people with ZITS!
Good luck.

If you've tried all sorts of acme medicine and nothing works, Accutane will work. I've done it and 6 months or less the acme problems is done. Re-accurance may happen but is rare. This is a very powerful medicine tho. Talk to your dermatoligist about this. And whatever you do, don't pop them. Popping zits creates scare tissue. I wish i knew that years ago, lol. Hope this helps and God Bless!!!

First, you need to be drinking plenty of water. After you take a hot bath / shower, use a pore cleaning tool that extracts dirt and oil from your pores. This tool has two different sized loops on each end...one loop is for small blackhead and the other is for large, deep blackheads. You just slide this tool across your pimple and it immediately extracts the dirt and oil. This tool can be found at Target for $9.99.

invest in a good cleanser toner and moisteriser (maybe proactive or another one for acne prone skin). and there are also alot of things from your house that you can use and apply to your zits like: toothpaste, teatree oil, etc.
you can buy creams over the counter that contain benzoyl peroxide - that is good for your pimples. i recommend get a 5% one.
if you are really worried, go see your doctor and he will prescribe you with some pills for acne - they will help!
good luck

either spend 50 bucks on ProActive, or there is a cheaper version of ProActive that works called AcneFree, it has 3 different steps just like ProActive and works really well.

Use proactive it is very good for acne and i do not suggest poping them because they can sometimes leave ugly marks.
Good Luck!
