This is the greatest country on earth and its citizens should be proud to wave a flag and should be HONORED to sing the National Anthem and Star Spangled Banner. As citizens we should all know what men and women of this country have died for and we should never forget any of them. I am truly proud to be an American and I could never speak negative about such a great and generous nation like ours. Be proud Americans for we are truly blessed to live and work and die in the United States of America. Sign me up G.W.B. I will fight for this great countries honor anytime you need me!!!!!!!

Absolutely! I tear up when I hear the Star Spangled Banner, and love to see the flag displayed. I am about to take my kids to DC for an educational vacation. This is still the greatest country on earth. Nowhere else do you have the kinds of freedoms we do. I think we have lots of problems, but it has always been that way. No one has ever completely agreed on things throughout our history, and the same arguments that are going on now have gone on before. I believe lots of people still love America. I also believe we can survive anything.

I do. I love this country, for all its good and all its bad. I still think there are very few places on Earth where people can live as freely as we can here. But I am also very concerned about how hard the country is leaning towards the ultra-conservative. It seems like all you have to do is say the word "terrorism" and people will just ignore the Constitution. I think we need to be very careful over the next few years to make sure we do not let god into politics and to make sure we are following the Constitution and not trying to put the bible in its place.

no i do not like this country or the president or any other of our elected officials. we have not been free since the day we declared independence from britain. the gov't officials are a bunch of over payed morons who only think of themselves, why else would they get rid of health care programs and peoples retirement. all the gov't talk about is freedom for other countries yet when they send the troops in the gov't puts them under the us gov'ts control until they want to free them. what kind of bs is that. if you love this country you are blinded by the fast food, the censored press, and the numerous shopping malls that keep you occupied while the gov't takes more for themselves and leaves less for you. they only want the rich to stay that way and the poor to be compltely ignorant of what they are doing.

I love the fact that many countries cannot have this discussion.

We can.

I love we have a system that gives us an opportunity to change and adjust our system.

Most cannot.

Look at the alternatives and pick one before snubbing a nose protected by all America stands for.

Yes, I love America and hope she grows stronger and wiser.

Yes. I absolutely love that I have freedom to choose where I live and what I believe.

But if you're stuck here and you hate it, you can do one of two things. Complain (choosing to be miserable) or look at the good things and be grateful the country isn't any worse. Gratitude goes a long way.
