I am 15 and I am 5'11. I want to know what other people think about tall women/girls wearing high heels. I personally stay below two inches. I do not want to seem like an amazon women. My mother says you are beautiful the way Jesus made you, etc. And she tells me to wear whatever height of heels I want. I am curious to see waht others think. (plus I want more points on yahoo answers)

you should totally wear heels but not toooo high ones maybe when you get older... but its up to you wear. what make you feel GREAT
heels are a girls best friend in a outfit lol and i think everyone (women) should wear heels!

I'm 5' 11.5 inches tall and I wear heels all the time. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a tall girl wearing heels. If you are comfortable wearing heels do so.

Since youre tall you dont have to wear heels some people wear it because they feel that their too short and some wear it for it for style you can still wear them about 2 inches tall

I am 5'9'' and 17, still a pretty tall height compared to a lot of girls and I wear heels all the time and it looks nice. Sure I look even taller but I'm sure you look fine, if its not over 4 inches.

Yes, fall in love with a pair of heels and rock them whenever you feel like it, height shouldn't be a constriction, I'm 5'5 and wear heels whenever I want and my friend is 5'10 and she wears heels whenever she wants. If you're happy in them, then don't let anyone/anything stop you. People will always judge no matter what so ignore them and do you.

I think you should! But if you do consider wearing high heels, make sure they're not too "high." It'll really hurt your feet after a while. 5'11" is very tall for a 15 year old, so wear them occasionally. I don't really think you need to wear them.

I am 5'11 and I wear 4" heels, I am proud of my height and I show it. Why worry about being an amazon???? That is the height you have enjoy it.
Better yet, why do you care what others think?

Yes! high heels flatter any woman, no matter how tall. And I agree, I wouldnt go much higher than 2 inches, but I wouldnt know, Im almost 15 and Im 5' 0"!

I think you should do what is comfortable for you. As a teenager it is completely understandable that you wouldn't always want to stand out, as you're already taller than most girls. But later on you may feel differently. Personally I like to see tall women flaunt it in heels, but each of us needs to choose what works for herself.

I'm pretty tall for my age-i wear high heels too, but nothing over two inches. i would wear them. i love wearing high heels cuz i feel important and they look good.
