There is no normal.

Age is just a number, reading comics has never hurt anyone, and viewing life as a specific age is a choice. It depends on the 25-year-old viewpoint in question.

I would imagine reading comics might give him something to talk about with his kids.

Yes, it is quite normal and healthy for a man of any age to enjoy fantasy literature. As far as acting like a 25 year old...go for it. Hold tight onto youth as long as you can.

What is abnormal, is someone asking if a 50 year old shouldn't enjoy frivolous things like comic books. I bet you're the mother-in-law...right?

why not? As long as he earns money and is not a danger to himself or others, why do you care? How's looking at comic books less mature than reading celebrity magazines or window-shoppinig for hours?

Normal? Probably not. But if I can feel as vital and young at fifty as I do now (at 27) then I would certainly not be worrying about whether it was normal or not. I would be reveling in it!

There is no book on how to live life. Everyone goes about their days pretending they know what is going on, but the truth is, everyone is winging it just the same.

This is the meaning of freedom. You can choose how to live your life, social standards are complete bullshit.
