Yes, it is all show. I had to accompany a child to a WWE show last summer, and sat about 20 rows back, it was clear that the punches and kicks were not even landing, missing by several inches in some instances. I saw Victoria lose to Christine Hemme, leave the ring, come back and pummel Hemme who had her back turned, then leave. Thirty minutes later, they were in a pool laughing and posing for the crowd. That was a fast recovery.

As someone who's in training himself currently (I train with Norman Smiley here in sfl) I can answer this question with one additional statement. Only so much can be planned on, the rest depends on how you fall. It's when you hit that mat that things get real (a wooden ring is not the padded comfort zone you'd generally put yourself in).

I don't think, I know. It has been made public by the WWE that they are only entertainment. IT IS NOT REAL.

Definitely fake. You can see them stomp to make the sounds of the 'horrible crashing' of their bodies when they slam one another. Wanna watch real fighting? Watch UFC!

its fake wwe is fun to watch but its not really, they pretend to hit each other but make it look real, like alot of the times when someone punches another person they don't really hit them hit them, like just make the sound with their feet, but things that u can't fake like slapping is different thats real,

It's actually both, if that makes any sense. WWE requires a LOT of athletic ability!

The storylines and outcomes are scripted and the characters are campy, but the athleticism and skill are 100% real.

It's fake. Staged fighting. They even admit it.

Want REAL fighting? Try UFC or PRIDE!!

The endings and storylines are fake, but the injuries are real. Don't try it at home.
