I was wondering...
do you guys have any suggestion? i saw some good deals at about 35 bux at newegg.com but its oem
does it come with nero or other recording software?

Unfortunately, OEM merchandise does NOT come with bundled software, warranty and owner's manual. I buy hardware occassionally from NewEgg. Recently, I came across a Lite-On internal dvd burner OEM for $33 USD. It was a great deal but no software bundle. However, there was another Lite-On internal dvd burner retail which sold for $38 USD, This retail version came with Nero Express and PowerDVD software. I think you are better off buying a retail version. I bought a NEC dvd burner OEM from Newegg for $35 USD, which work great for 6 months and then decided to die on me. There was no warrant so I was out of $35 USD.
On a side note. Newegg regularly offers free shipping for certain products. In one case, a Lite-On dvd burner sold for $38 but cost an extra $7 for shipping and handling. I waited a couple of days and the same item was advertised for the same price but no shipping and handling fee. It is an easy way to save money and it works all the time.

Most of them come with some sort of authoring software. I've gotten really nice LiteOn drives that come with Nero Lite, which you can upgrade to the full version for a reasonable fee.
You might call or email NewEgg and ask them. They're pretty good about finding out stuff like that.

Just about every DVD burner I have ever bought has come with some version of Nero included, except the first one, which was an HP drive that came with sucky HP software.

OEM means "original equipment manufacturer" they DO NOT come with any software, you must buy what newegg refers to as "retail" to get Nero and other software with your burner.

Just bought one from Newegg that was delivered yesterday....had both Nero 6.6, and Power DVD CD's that came along with it.

They all usually come with Nero.

They all have some kind of software that will record Cd's and DVD's.
