I think it would be wonderful if you added more to it, you have a great idea forming. Most songs come from poetry write a poem that can be the chorus, don't give up if that is what you want to do. NO matter what anybody says.

I think that's its absoloutley cute and polite if you made a song up for both your parents, and you took the dedication to write. Those three sentences may not be the longer than a Panic! At the Disco song title, but those sentences have special touches to them that YOU made just for your parents. Whether, it's for a wedding anniversary, a wedding, a special event or just nothing at all, recite it to them. They'll feel special and blessed to have a daughter like you!

Sorry, but no. It is far too cliché. Try somethign origional, like an "inside joke." Parents always like when you make it funny, yet meaningful, but not a Hallmark card. I hope it helps!
