What did people do before there was such a thing as a spell checker?
There was something we used to do; many still do it, now. Can you guess what it was?

I'm not under 24 but I want to answer the question.
We learned how to spell by phonics.
Sometimes we looked words up in a dictionary.

Look it up in the dictionary. Oh and by the way, there is a spell check on this site but if you'll notice, very few people use it. LOL.

Spelling a matter of memory, so in order to spell correctly you have to have it imbeded in your mind, if you are unsure of a word a dictionary works great, like its been said before.

ask someone to correct there paper re read it to your self go to the dictionary lol i used spell check on this

It was one of those big things made out of thin sheets of compressed fibers that were filled with words wasn't it? I think I heard my parents call it a dicshunary once.
