Whoever told you that I hate TV is a liar.

Besides, hate is a strong word. life is too short to be filled with hate.

The proper abbreviation for television is TV not T.V.

What I don't like about TV is that they put on some of the dumbest shows and actually expect people to watch them. Then they are surprised when they fail. There was one show that did so poorly before it was even shown, that some areas of the country actually refused to show that program and others pulled it after 2 showings. I think Hollywood needs to get back into what actually interests people.

too much sex and violence....why dont they have things for family to watch...I hate all this reality crap! I want some good writing and something that will make me laugh...I love the tv shows Everyone loves Raymond, Seinfeld, Friends, Will and Grace, ER, things like that are great for adults only but they need shows like Growing Pains, Family Ties, Full House, etc for families to watch...the ones on the Disney Channel and Nick are so dumb well except That's so Raven that one is ok but all the others dont have a good story line

HBO original programing and sports are the only thing worth watching. So I basically pay $70 a month to watch 5 hours of tv a week.

it seems all sporting events are getting taped delayed and not showing true crowd support and not showing all the action it should be now there trying to fine the crowd for swearing or showing the finger just put a live event sign on it view at own risk u cant control people they pay all that money then get fined for showing support to there team

We do not watch television in our house. Maybe because we are Quaker. I just see it as so much nonsense, full of illusion, almost devoid of any intellectual content. We don't need it. It's another drug, only you absorb it through your eyes and ears.
Instead, we walk, swim, go by boat on rivers, drive around and learn about our community and the land we live in. We work and save and invest. We prosper.

It generally leaves me feeling less intelligent then before I watched it! All though I do like the history channel and animal planet sometimes!

T.V. is a technological blessing. I love it and when I get bored with it, I just turn it off.

I dislike the content (too much sex) and I don't like the laugh track in comedies. I'm smart enough to know when to laugh. People shouldn't have to tell me when its funny
