To be honest, it sounds like it's probably time for a new mouse. If the options in the control panel and/or mouse settings don't respond, then most likely your mouse has become defective.

The only other thing that comes to mind is that reinstalling the drivers for your mouse may correct the problem. To do this, you will first need to remove the device from your device manager in Windows. You can find the device manager in the Control Panel --> click the System icon --> click the Hardware tab --> click the Device Manager button. You should then find your mouse listed in one of the categories (probably under Mice and Other Pointing Devices or something like that). Once you find the listing for the mouse, right click on the listing, then you will see an option to uninstall. If you need a driver for the mouse, get it first. After you uninstall the mouse, remove the mouse from the computer, then reattach it, while following the on-screen instructions to reinstall.

If this doesn't work, you'll probably want a new mouse. =)

I hope this helps!

ok your gonna need to do key board commands, at least you can click your way to the control pan. Once there, in the control pan, you need to use the tab, to move from icon to icon, and then the enter key... now, as far as reversed mouse buttons... this stricks me as something really werid. I've never heard of such a thing, unless its a prank program? but, if its a feature, you should be able to point it out once your in the control pan. hope this helps ya

I think it's a hardware problem. You should get a new mouse.
