Would you rather have the ability to fly or a tail? Why or why not.?

Which would you rather have: 1. The ability to fly
2. A tail

if everyone else is going to be flying, i'll be original and take the tail. Maybe if i spin it around real fast it will act like a propeller and allow me to fly anyway. like that thing in Sonic the Hedgehog. Then i'd have both, and all you flying types will be sad you didn't get the tail too.

I would rather have the ability to fly, because flying would be more useful. I could travel, get out of danger, fly to the danger...
How would we be able to fly? With wings? With a propeller? With sheer mind power (which wouldn't work)?

Your question also did not entail (pardon the pun) on whether or not the tail would be *prehensile*, meaning, able to flex like a fifth limb. If the tail were prehensile, it could be useful, "Could someone give me a hand here?" would be a thing of the past. However, I think that flying would be vastly to having a prehensile tail. (But, either way, having wings or a tail would both look kinda weird...)

I'd rather have the ability to fly. Flying is cool. If I had a tail, people would probably just make fun of me.

I would rather fly. With a tail you may be able to climb a tree better, but with the ability to fly you can fly to the top and either hover above the tree or just roost on the top. I feel that the ability to fly will give you more options to accomplish things.

The ability to fly if I get to have black, feathery angel wings. I choose flight because I could go to more places and it would be fun. Also the ability to fly represents freedom and if I have wings I could look like a fallen angel.
A tail would be a close 2nd if it looks like a monkey tail. I'd choose it because I could look like a saiyan (from Dragon Ball Z) and I think saiyans are awesome.

I'd have to say the ability to fly because I don't see the benefit of having a tail and if you could fly, you would no longer have to wait in traffic, buy/pay for a car and most importantly....no more gas prices!!!!

Fly! The last thing I need is a tail. It would be very cool to be able to just jump and go.But would you have more speed flying than you have on the ground or would it be the same?

Definately fly. Mostly because where the heck would you put your tail when you're wearing pants? A guy at my work has a tail (well the remnants of one) and he has to sit on a round blow-up life preserver thingy. Not cool.
