Italy is a great team,Cannavaro&Buffon created a wall,and they are the best defenders of this years cup,also in attack they did a great job so far.With all that match-fixing stuff and all those scandals they made it after all,the team is united,they have the same thoughts\moves,they are in great shape,and they didn't had the chance to kiss the cup since 1982!
I respect France as well,Zidane is one of the greatest footballers ever.
I'm half italian anyway,so FORZA ITALIA!!!

I think italy will compete but france beat Brazil so u cant refuse that france is a strong team too

I would prefer France to win, but I think Italy will win for several reasons:
- They cheat/dive more.
- They've played better (and if Zindane has an "off" day, they stand an even better chance, seeing as they have no-one else really playing for them - even Henry has been disappointing).
- They have more to play for, with 13 of their squad probably being relegated due to the match-fixing scandal in Serie A, so they have their whole careers to play for. They'll be looking for new clubs next season and what better to have on their CV than "World Champion"?

Forget the teams' abilities.
This whole tournament has been about who can cheat the most without being penalized for it. The list of players that fit this definition is almost endless.
What a shame such a great sport has dropped to such a low level. FIFA is where the buck stops, no matter who they try to cast as the scapegoat.
