Well, you very well could be. Was the test you took an early pregnancy test? There are some on the market that can detect up to five days before the first missed period. Ok, I went through this same thing about 3 months ago. I actually thought I had all the symptoms (I am a nurse, so I am pretty knowledgeable in this area.) I finally drew my blood at work and was not. I think I made myself have symptoms-which is very easy to do. I would make sure that I took an early detection pregnancy test. If you still question it, it wouldn't hurt to see your doc! Good Luck!

It could be that your period is about to start, or you could be pregnant. I had a false negative with my third child because I took the test too soon. If your period does come this month, remember to have sex during days 12-17. Ovulation occurs on or around the 14th day. The first day of your period would be considered day 1. So if you started on july 9th, start having sex on the 21st -about the 28th. That way youll be sure to have intercourse on ovulation day. If you dont get pregnant right away, dont worry, sometimes getting off birth control throws your body for a loop for a few months. Good luck.

Either you are pregnant and the hormones aren't enough to show up on the test, or you are just having the worst pms symptoms now because you aren't taking bc anymore. My reccomendation is to wait until the due date for your period shows up, comes and goes with no period, then retake the test. By the sounds of it and the date currently, my guess is you are not yet pregnant, you are just experiencing severe pms because your body is getting used to no more hormones from the birth control. My guess is your next cycle.....here comes baby......that's what happened with me. However if your period doesn't show up and you take another test and it still comes out negative, call your ob for a blood test...could be a false negative on the home pg tests. Good luck with everything.

I recommend that you wait a few days to see if your period comes , the symptoms that come along with your period can change so these may simply be new symptoms. If you don't get your period take another test and if that comes out negative go see a doctor so that you can get a blood test, because sometimes the home pregnancy tests don't work. Good Luck : )

I am not sure there is a test on the market that could accurately detect pregnancy that early. You could take another home one, but why not just go to your doctor and know for sure? A friend of mine took 4 at home tests when she got pregnant and only one showed positive, so IMHO the mental and emotional certainty a trip to the doctor provides is worth every penny.
Since you went off BC I assume you are trying - but either way I wish you a happy life and (if applicable) a healthy child. God Bless.

YOu may be pregnant, then again it could be all in your mind. You need to go to the doctor and take their pregnancy test because they are more accurate. My nipple were hurting bad also when I became pregnant and I also had cramps as if my period was on. Just go get it checked out. Good Luck

Sometimes when you worry so much that you are pregnant, you are telling your body that you are. You can create symptoms.
Or could it be that your sypmtoms are due to the fact you may be getting your period?
If I were you I'd try to stop worring and see what happens, if you haven't gotten your period a week after you were suppose to start, I would either take another test or go see a doctor for that it may be something else causing your pain.

I would wait tell at least a week after your missed period then take the test again to be sure. If its still negative and you think your pregnant go to a Dr. and get a professional opinion. Everyones body is different, are you under stress? Your homones may be acting up too. Good luck.

If you want to be pregnant then wait until a week after your expected period if it doesnt come then go have a blood test, it is the most accurate. I you don't want this pregnancy then go get a blood test soon, (it can tell earlier then a urine test) that way the proper choice for what to do can be established sooner.
