No. The Beatles are the greatest band of all-time, and ABBA wouldn't even make the top 50. There is absolutely no comparison whatsoever.

The worst Beatles album is a thousand times better than Abbas greatest hits.

No, Abba did not change anytihng culturewise, neither encouraged bands to be formed, studios to be explored and didn't have the development stylistically as The Beatles had. Not to speak of the charismatic personalties of both bands. It's like comparing Thunderbirds to NASA.

No one stands up to the Beetles and though I love them, there are a lot of bands I love more. But ABBA ? They played elevator music. John Lennon and Paul McCartney were two of the best song writing duo's of their generation.

Absolutely not. They're two completely different styles. One does not compare with the other.
The Beatles were rock'n'roll, acid, metal, and balad, depending on which year they'd visited India!
Abba, was always balad, soft tonal music. Even when they tried to "rock" their music a bit, they still came off sounding almost bubble gum.

I can't compare the two. I think the beatles were way better. i do like ABBA though

no .... abba and the beetles are two different styles of music ...if you really were an abba fan and listened to the lyrics you would know what I mean ...

they are both influential, but to diiferent genres of music. But as for who was the best, I think most would agree the Beatles.

I wouldnt say they were better but they were definatley a great band. course im not all caught up in Beatle-mania either so u know, depends on your preference
