I HEAR THIS OVER AND OVER AGAIN FROM Military Bashing republicns
" the troops knew when they signed up that they could go to war and die and get hurt"
I MEAN these republicans not only are throwing this in our soldiers face but the are telling them basically " HEY YOU SIGNED UP NOW STOP BIT*HING"
As democrats we dont bash our troops and know that they signed up for military service and they could have expected war but we dont throw it in their faces, instead we wish that they would all come home and stop fighting bushs war that was based on imiginary weapons.
I Love America nd love our troops but for republicans to undermine our troops while they are fighting a senceless war based on right wing lies and fabrications is beyound beleif.

Really? I think its the other way around. Liberals (not all) are the ones who are doing things like showing up at a dead soldiers funeral with signs saying "glad he's dead" among other things.

Well, lets take a look. First, lets take John Kerry who is an obvious democrat. He referred to our troops as "terrorists". Thats not bashing?
Cindy Sheehan. Do I need to say more?
Nancy Pelosi said the war is unwinnable. Like she would have any idea whats going on over there. That doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement of our troops. Thats great..we support you but you can't win. Is that what she is saying? Sure sounds like it.
Jack Murtha or "Mr. Cut and Run" turned his back on his fellow marines and called them murderers without giving them the benefit of due process. Talk about throwing our military under the bus.
Look, I spent 6 yrs in the Marine Corp and no one put a gun to my head. I knew damn well that by joining the military it could result in bodily injury or death. Anyone that says that they didn't know needs to have thier head examined. Its not about a political view, its about personal accoutability which for some reason, dems have a problem with. No one is ever accountable for thier actions or obligations according to the dems. We had this argument ten years ago in peace time so it not a political thing or anything new. People in the military complain about all kinds of stuff but isn't that true outside of the military? I've been out of the Corp for 10 years and I hear people complain all the time.
By the way, since you aren't properly informed, we've found over 500 chemical weapons in Iraq as well as the infrastructure to produce WMD's. Recently, we've also found document linking Saddams former regime to the Taliban in Afganhistan. What else do you want?
Even in your question you indict the integrity of our troops. You're saying "we support you but you're fighting a senseless war based on imaginary weapons." Guess what? They're finding them and they are still looking for more. You think you might wait until they finish thier search or until all the facts are declassified or are you going to keep believeing "senseless and imaginary" facts?

It is not Republicans who are bashing the Troops, it is Liberals who are doing that.
Firefighters know they could die fighting a Fire, Police Officers know they could get killed fighting Crime.
Im a Republican myself and in my opinion only those who are willing to fight in a War should be signing up, anyone who does not wanna go to War should not join in the 1st place.
It is the Democrats who are bashing the troops especially the ones who call the Troops Terrorists like Cindy Sheehan.

I have not heard Republicans bashing the troops, quite the opposite, the trash has come from the liberals. Both parties throw their fair share of BS around, but on this subject it is at least 90% liberals trashing the troops.

My younger brother is on his 3rd tour in Iraq he has 5 children . The republicans are right ! All democrats are not patriots . We should make them all come back and let the Republicans show us how to win this war . My brother is a Democrat and I would love to see a more qualified republican . tell him he is not a patriot .

Republicans are undermining our troops? It's not Republicans who gleefully count the body bags, Spanky. We know that war is hell, but that some of our guys are unfortunately going to die in the process of sending terrorists there - you know, the folks who'd much rather kill innocent folks like us than soldiers who can shoot back.

i think you are confusing republicans and democrats. Republican are proud of our troops and support our troops. It is the liberal side that talks them down.
