I am wondering how I can possibly become famous. I am a teenager living in Long Island, New York. I want my name known. What type of things should I do?

Find out what you want to be famous for. Do you act, dance, sing, rap, model, write, or invent stuff. What ever you do exceptionally well (that means others think you do it well also) and work on it and then contact people in that industry by searching the web and papers and asking around. Your in New York they shoot so many reality shows there and they have a lot of modeling and talent agencies (Ford, Wilhelmina) you just have to go for it. Can't get discovered at your house.

It depends on what you want to do
Acting: Look online and in the paper for open auditions. Also, you can call a performing arts school for information on open auditions. You can also get an agent (phonebook?)
Music: You can go to an agent, a music producer, a record company (which should be somewhat accessable since you live close to NY). You can also go to a performing arts school for help.

1st you gotta leave NY cause you know nothing shocks us here. then go to some ol town somewhere and do something extremely stupid...you will get headlines, I would really love it personally if you would go to LA find tom cruise and do or say something that will piss him off, he's got NO sense of humor and someone needs to tell him to land..Is he even human anymore??

My first suggestion is to go in Iran and to declare that you are politically persecuted in your country. For sure, for a sort period of time you will be the craziest man on the planet, but you will be also the most famous...

try doing tons of community service. good deeds are very noticed among communities where it is sorely needed. there've been so many teens and adults who make it in the papers and stuff for helping out and that would be a good start to you becoming famous. who knows, someone might see your picture in the paper and decide you'd be a good star.
