I would rather be Deaf, but in real life, I am deaf. Their is a time that I wish I can hear so i can talk on phone. listen to someone wispher to me, listen to radio. I can do everything but hear, I can commucate with sign language when I talk to a deaf person. I can speak very well, in english. being deaf and blind , the person who is like that just don't have no life at all. All they can do is stay home and not being able to enjoyed their self at all. being blind, you dont know what you are watching, cant read a paper unless of course you have a braille. being deaf you can do everything but hear. you can drive, you can see your baby, your family, read a bible. go on a tour. their is many thing you can do even if you are deaf that the blind cant do. I myself wears a hearing aid so i can hear the people but i do have hard time to understanding people and it is very complicate to explain to people that I have a bad hearing loss. They dont understand most of the time. Because they dont want to understand.

Seriously i would like to be deaf but definitively not blind. If i want to be deaf first i can't sleep well because my husband snoring very very very and very hard. And were i live it's too much noise so i can't hear the bird singing and i live with ears plug everytime because the noise make me very nervous and aggressive. When i drive my vehicle i feel to kill everybody who yell about the other driver and etc. That stupid life in a city, i want move in a pretty country who the sound of the bird will enjoy me, were i can put my lovely husband an other room for sleep, and were i can buy some gun for shoot someone who take my street with his BIG MOTORCYCLE and disturb me, so i just want shoot his bicycle in his motor and after explain him why i did that, i need just live a place to be in peace. So i need my eyes to see all of the scenery and animal plus some nice people (handsome man too). But unfortunately, because i have some sickness i know that i will lose what is so precious for me my eyes.

Look either is a hard answer, I am a sign language student and to let the people know who are quick to become deaf let me tell you it is not a cake walk learning how to sign/communicate. Being Blind is the same thing it is a life changing occurrence. This may be too serious but I am thankful everyday that I can see and hear, we DO take these things for granted and before I started learning sign language myself I was blind to the difficulties of these different cultures.

I asked this question to my dad when I was little. He said deaf because he wouldn't live without reading.
I personally would choose deaf as well. I can babble forever and since I'm deaf I won't know when people were talking.
I am a writer, so I wouldn't live without seeing what I was writing.
I like sports and reading too, but if I was blind I wouldn't be able to do any of it.

I hope I never become neither, but I would have to say, i'd rather be deaf, instead of blind, I want to be able to see.
