because for one, more people like using yahoo, because more people hear about it. I suppose its word of mouth, and because its a free service. once they start charging if they ever do you would be surprised at how many people would stop using the service.
the other good points are the search engines, free email, text-computer, answers, calling pc to pc via messanger, messanger and more.
there are some bad points, as far as yahoo goes,some of my friends and family dont use the service, other people prefer other services, and they allowed bush to go through everything in this particular service, where as google didnt. so I prefer to use googles search options more so than anything else, there is also the storeage space required to run yahoo services on the pc if you have a low harddrive ect.
so weather or not its us that like yahoo, it will always be around, and the advertisement will always be here. so yahoo for yahoo...lol...and ttyl. :) :P

Because I can sit at work on really super-fast internet, stare very intently at my flat screen in my cubicle like I'm SO totally into the report I should be writing, but I'm REALLY digging my yahoo answers. And then after I've killed about 3 hours picking and choosing which questions to ask (the ones "am I hot" are the BEST, I can RIP on those!!!), THEN I kill ANOTHER 2 hours picking best answers....In between that, there's lunch for an hour or more (if I can stretch it, oops I need air in my tire oops my cat got out)...THEN IT IS TIME TO GO HOME!
Yaaaaaawn! Dang, I worked SO HARD today!!!!
