I always recommend contacting a travel agent that specializes in Disney. I always use an agent when I plan my trips, it just makes things so much easier on me.

You will pay the same price as you would if you booked directly with Disney. But, you will get all the extra benefits and services of using an agent. For example, the knowledge. All you have to do is ask them your questions and they will give you current, up to date and accurate information, quickly. You could look for the answers yourself, but you could find wrong information, out-dated information, etc. They can do your priority seatings for you. Again, you can do this, but it just saves you so much time and headaches over doing it. There are tons of benefits to using an agent.

For me personally, I see no reason why not to book with an agent. Having worked with Disney directly many years ago, I know what kind of a headache that can be and how many errors they make. My agent watches for these and then takes care of them. I would even pay extra to use an agent, but considering it doesn't cost a thing, I think it is the best way to go.

The main thing to stay away from is sites that offer discounts, for example Orbitz, Expedia, Sams, etc. You may save a little money, but since they don't actually specialize in Disney, you could be missing out on a lot. I've also used AAA in the past, but found that they weren't really helpful. They basically book it, give you a brochure and send you on the way. They don't really stay in contact, book dinings, change the package if a discount comes out, etc.

I hope that this helps. If you have any other questions just let me know!

Your question asks what is the best site for planning a Disney Vacation. I don't know if this will help you in making decisions, but you may want to purchase the Walt Disney World Birnbaum book. It is around 12 dollars and is the Official Guide to WDW. In the book, it gives information on all the parks, restaurants, resorts on and off Disney property, info on what times of the year are least/most crowded, recreation at WDW and more. I have been to Walt Disney World numerous times and it has always been the guidebook my family has counted on for ideas.

I hope you have a wonderful time at Disney!

Folks, I would like to share my experience with all those who are thinking to buy a travel package. Recently we bought a travel package online from worldleisureclub.com. The low price of the package initially put us in dilemma as we were apprehending some hidden costs. Anyways we decided to buy one of the packages. Surprisingly, we were not charged any extra amount and offered all that was mentioned. Go for it, you will never get any better travel deal than offered by them.
