Washington state is the best state I have ever visited. I loved it so much, I moved cross country to live here. It's beautiful, the people are nice, there isn't racism like in the south and the weather is wonderful.

I lived in Colorado for two years, and for the scenery, it was wonderful. I had to work a lot while I was there and didn't get to enjoy it as much as I'd have liked, but I highly recommend a trip there - you'll be looking through apartment guides as you try to figure out why you'd ever leave. It could be hot or cold depending on the season (of course), but with the relatively low humidity, the temperature extremes don't get to you as badly as they would here in the Midwest.
I lived in the Denver area, but one of my jobs took me as far north as Fort Collins and as far south as Colorado Springs. I highly recommend trekking along the I-25 corridor and into the mountains west of each of those cities. You can see Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods near Colorado Springs; the Boulder area northwest of Denver (where a small mountain park awaits); the mountain towns of Conifer, Evergreen, etc. west of Denver; and Horsetooth Reservoir west of Fort Collins. Oh, and if you take U.S. 36 one hour north and west of Boulder, you come to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.
I was essentially on my own out there, so I got to come and go as I pleased (when not working), but I think if you have family with you, you will all enjoy a trip to Colorado.

too many questions, the weather in Canada is the same as in the US. Loved South Dakota, all the States down the East Coast,
I like history so Quebec City in Canada is just like being in France, Washington DC is awesome, lots to see, the Smithsonian, FBI Building, Boston is amazing, all the great buildings, Toronto Canada is very nice, clean, good food, CN Tower, I could go on and on. Go wherever you want to go, if you go with an open mind you will enjoy yourself.

I've been in all 48 lower states. I find them to be pretty much the same all around. Hollywood CA was the most fun though. They know how to party there.

I live in CA but like Tennessee better. Because TN has more green trees and life, and it has fireflies. I also don't mind the weather at either one.
