The Ruling elite let us vote to let us think we have a choice in the matter which we don't. Witness the debacle in Iraq. THE PEOPLE didn't have any input as to whether we should go to war or not. As a mater of fact the greatest percentage of people if they had been asked would have given a resounding NO. That's the reason they don't ask, they know they won't get the answer they're seeking. At the constitutional Convention in I believe 1786 that group of men decided to centralize all power in the central federal gov't & take away the state's powers. This arrangement has worked very well as the only way you can become president these days is if you were a member of the Skull & Crossbones Society of which George Bush Jr. was a member through his bloodline to Bush Sr.

the problem with people like you and me is that we bother to investigate. those others who call you a bonehead or whatever are happily ignorant. It is so much easier, or so it seems, to live life with blinders on. They are happier people.

have you ever tried to get inside of the heads of some of the powerful policy makers? I think that if I wanted to build my wealth and power and had no social conscience, I would do much of what is being done now.

Also, if I were a terrorist organizer, there would have already been a lot more bloodshed here in this country. That is why I pay attention to the conspiracy theorists because they may be on to something. We were attacked only once (not that I am complaining) and we are constantly reminded of that attack and we are constantly told who the enemy is. The government (or multi national corps) have gotten a lot of mileage out of 9/11, even to the point where it is okay in some people' minds to kill thousands of racially similar people who had nothing to do with the violence.
