All but the angry. My mother lost her battle to cancer. She went into the hospital two days before Christmas and passed away two days after Christmas. We were all expecting the outcome, what made it so bad was Christmas was her favorite holiday. We put up the tree and opened all the presents before she went to see her doctor. Some how she knew that she would not be coming home. I made a promsie to her that I would always have a Christmas tree up and a manger scene displayed. Even after almost 10 years, Christmas is extremely hard for me. I recently had my first child, and now Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving is even harder to get through because I wish my mom could be here to see her granddaughter who looks and laughs like her. I know its hard but I just keep thinking that I know that she is in no pain and is enjoying her time in heaven. Let God help with the pain. He is the only way I got through it and continue to get through the holidays. She collected angels, I still have her angels and every Christmas I try to add one to it if I find one that she would like.

My Mother died the day after Thanksgiving and her Birthday was on Christmas. I hurt so bad and cried out loud.I never used to think my parents would die when I was young. I went to visit her and my Dad the night before and she looked bad. She went into a coma during that night, morning of Thanksgiving.Lasted one day in the hospital. She was only 66. It's been 20 yrs. I remember it like it was yesterday.I got sick after the Funeral and was out of work three weeks before i got over the flu.The pain was indescribable. My Dad went 1 and a half later.

I personally didn't but my friend did...she had a rough time and with the passing of anyone whether it was close to a holiday or not you will always wonder what if....but you know what there are only times when you have the joyous memories....they knew you loved them whether you said it or not...and you will always love them deep in your heart...always know that your mother is looking from heaven on you and your family and when it rains those are joyous tears because she can still be with you and know you are safe.

plus she's a guardian angel to you....who could protect you better than your mom?
