i would personally pick king james because he is a good shooter and an excellent play maker. Kobe is just a ball hog.

Its hard to look past a guy who scores 80 points not even the great M.J did that, but you have to go with L. James. he all ready done so much at a young age. and did not have a 7 foot giant in the way of shag to help him. and all this from a fast shinking Detroit Piston Fan. see ya Big Ben

Apparently none of you saw the Lakers vs Suns series. Kobe was simply amazing, and all while scoring WAYYY under his season average. He took the team to a game 7 against a very good Nash-led Suns team. He hit two game winners. Ok. now go back to mid-season when the Lakers were below .500 and the experts said they had no chance of making the playoffs. They made it.
Now... don't get me wrong, King James would be my second pick, if not Dirk Nowitzki. Sure, Lebron is un-doubtedly the best a player has ever been at age 21 and may go on to be the greatest in the history of the game, but Kobe is absolutely the best player in the world right now.
Also, Kobe did more with less. The only other Laker who knew what they were doing was Lamar Odom, and he didn't even wake up until the playoffs already started.

LeBron...although Kobe has won 3 rings. But, they were with Shaq, who proved he didn't need Kobe to win a championship.

I WOULD PICK MY MAIN MAN LEBRON JAMES. JAMES IS A BETTER PLAYER COMPARED TO KOBE(HE CANT WIN WITHOUT SHAQ) AT THIS STAGE OF HIS CAREER(HE'S ONLY 20 YRS OLD) AND HE CAN PLAY THE TEAM GAME WHICH KOBE OBVIOUSLY CANT(HE PLANS TO WIN THE SCORING TITLE EVERY YEAR).
