I have really long eyelashes. When I put on mascara, even the regular non-lengthening or thickening stuff they look fake. Is there any way that I can buy mascara that won't make my lashes look thick?

Try clear mascara. And believe me, most women would kill to be in your shoes.

My eyelashes are long, too, but mine are blonde at the tips (my hair and most of lashes are dark brown).
I only use mascara b/c of the blonde tips, or for more dramatic makeup for special occasions. (Someone mentioned making this your signature....)
I've tried Neutrogena lash tint. It doesn't add length or thickness, just color.
Maybe try that?
Clear mascara does nothing but clump into white marks....Not even good for taming eyebrows, since it makes them look like they have dandruff!
If not lashtint, maybe just a plain mascara that isn't lengthening or thickening, and EASY DOES IT....

If your eyelashes are already naturally thick and long then you shouldn't even use mascara, you should be happy with the lashes you already have. People who wear mascara wish they has eyelashes like you!

If your eyelashes are that long and thick already, there really is no need to wear mascara anyways.

mascara sole purpose is to elongate eye lashes and 2. to make them the color of the mascara. So you really shouldnt be using mascara.

Why would you want to wear it if your lashes are pretty just the way they are? There are clear mascaras to enhance what you have that won't make them look globby. Enjoy your natural beauty :)

You can try products that will just tint them, or clear mascaras maybe... On a side note, I wish I had your "problem"! Sounds like you have gorgeous lashes!

i have long eyelashes, and im happy with it. when i put mascara on it makes it look fake too so thats why i dont use it alot

Why not just forego the mascara?
If you want, try putting Vaseline (petroleum jelly) on your eyelashes. It will make them darker, and doesn't add to the volume.

Maybe try a clear mascara. I think you can buy them at Target. Or try Elfcosmetic.com I just saw one there.
