It has its own regiments, and it is very proud of them, but Scotland is part of Great Britain, and their regiments are part of the British army. Ditto Wales, where Prince Charles is the commander in chief of the Welsh regiment.

you've Gurkha's, if a guy is solid adequate to do the job it does not count number what nationality , as for being Scottish merely seem how nicely the Scots have served contained in the BRITISH not English forces over the centuries
