Even if the Constitution says if you don't like the current goverment, destroy it and rebuild. Do you think the Government would respond with military force and what the world's oppion would be?

Chicago would be the nations capital, the White Sox would be a foreign team, and Canada would open the first embassy.

It would be considered a foreign country and you would have to pay huge taxes on imports and exports. A pack of cigarettes would be 7 bucks and you would need a passport to leave the state. A plane trip to Ohio would be considered an international flight and you would be subject to a bunch of hassles. You would have to work out your own deal with OPEC for oil, then build a refinery (which takes ten years). You would not receive anymore federal funding for roads or school or any other social programs. Oh, and, we wouldn't let you. If you want your own country, you will have to find your own real estate. And I think its all taken.

Actually each citizen has a right to declare themselves independent from the gov. You can exclude yourself from paying taxes, but you can't benefit from not ONE SINGLE gov funded program. I personally like getting money back every year....kinda like a no-interest savings bond. LOL

prolly the same thing that happened to key west when they tried to succed...we'd basically say "what are you gonna do? get back here, you can;t succed from us...are you crazy?"
