i also have the same problem. i would try to find that one friend who you know will always be there for you. lots of times friends say hey im there for you but when you need someone to talk to they either ignore you, or bring up thier own problems. but its all about finding that one person who will really listen and gives good advice.. somtimes its just good enough to just spill your guts and in that case writing out things on a blog or such helps too even if you delete the entry.

Easy. I write. Journals entries, stories, sentences, novels, essays, anything.

I don't mean to make light of your issue,; seriously, in times of great emotional distress and loneliness writing has saved me. It does not have to be great literature. You just need to express yourself and get those feelings out.

And I do just what you're doing-- I go to the internet community. Talk in a reasonable, nonannoying way, and you will always find someone here to listen.

Also, tell your friends that you have something important to say to them so it will get their attention. Then say you want them to listen to you more. If, after that, they still act this way, they are not real friends. Real friends care about each other and will change their behavior if they know it is bothering you.

I am not saying you should drop these people if they don't listen to you. Maybe you still enjoy being around them sometimes. But you also need to find a few real, caring friends, and recategorize these others as 'acquaintances' or 'outing buddies'.

Write a journal, something like that. Tell the ones you listen to all the time that it's your turn to talk.
