Hi, It's good that the 2 of you get that one on one time. You need that to have a healthy relationship with him as well as the household. Because whether you like it or not you are a father figure to him; seeing that you are the adult male in your home. I agree with Heidie, I also think the 3 of you should do things together as a family. I don't feel that you should solely keep him entertained. You need your private & alone time. I wish you Good Luck.

Maybe all three of you should do things together, and you're right for introducing different thing for him to do. Good luck.

IT IS WONDERFUL ENOUGH THAT YOU GIVE OF YOUR TIME TO THIS BOY. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BEND OVER BACKWARDS TO PLEASE HIM WITH EXACTLY THE ACTIVITIES HE WANTS TO DO. IT'S A SHARING OF TIME YOU ARE HAVING WITH THE BOY WHICH MEANS HE IS SUPPOSED TO SHARE WITH YOU ALSO WHICH MEANS YOU DECIDE THE ACTIVITY. THE BOY GETS TO GO OUT ON AN ACTIVITY AND YOU GET TO PICK THE ACTIVITY.
