awesome question. From a conscious state of mind, one can think of nothingness as the state of meditation where you are concentrating on an object or a thought, perhaps your breath. I havent been patience enough to go past this stage of meditation. But it only makes sense that as an alive person, nothingness can be achieved best with meditation. Ofcourse, you could also be sleeping and dreaming..which is similar to meditation. In summary:
Nothingness: The state of meditation or sleep

Nothing is something and something is everything, therefore, nothing is everything. I wrote that on my journal when I was in high school...It's something to think about. Kind of a deep quote that only makes sense if you want it to.

nothing is the same as "no thing" which is in contrast to no one, and refers to non-living things...
for example, you can have no-thing and still love some-one.
or you can have some-thing, which is a bit more than nothing, or or every-thing, which theoretically would be all of the opposite of nothing, and still have no-one, and also presumably be unhappy.
top that one bitches! lol

for 'nothing', anything is nothing.
as for "clean", everything is clean.
but you expect 'something",why do you?
and you cant contact whit it,watch it ,or ...
you relate it to 'something' s,when they have no relationship, but this is null number of relationship ,not 'nothing'.
......for 'nothing' the only true is nothing.

Something.
It's a concept. And more, it is some Thing which I can predicate attributes onto. For one: extension.
