no not really because rack and power steering pump are high
***** look at it this way , yes the car is old but now a days a car cost thousands. if you car runs and it is paid for then you really probably made only 3 car payments on a new car. *** you also know the condition of your car and the history.

The cost for the repairs is not unreasonable, but the car likely doesn't have that much value in it. Look for the coolant system to go up next, and maybe even the transmission. Good luck!

Sounds like you got a good deal. I paid 906.45 for a brake job on a 97 ford contour all 4 tires. Sounds like I might have paid to much

YES YOU COULD OF GOTTEN ANOTHER CAR JUST LIKE THE ONE YOU HAVE FOR THAT. STOP TRYING TO HEAL THE HORSE AND JUST SHOOT IT . UNFORTUNATELY YOU CANT NOW THAT IT IS ALL FIXED. FROM NOW ON PUT FUEL IN IT. CHANGE THE OIL. REPAIR THE BREAKS WHEN THEY REQUIRE IT. AND KEEP A DECENT SET OF TIRES ON IT. OTHER THAN THAT IF ANYTHING ELSE BREAKS SHOOT THE HORSE.
