I know it will be on a Monday, but I don't know which one. The tectonic plates will flip over, one after the other, exposing their lava-coated undersides. Then after they cool, life will begin anew. This seems to happen every four to five billion years or so.

Several billion years from now, our sun will become a red giant. It will enlarge to a far bigger size than it is today, vaporizing the earth in the process.

It can only be toxified so long before its over..but Im sure you'll be dead along with the following 10 generations or so before that happens.
