This is an absoloute agree! I am appalled by the way they treat Britney, and from all the dedication she has laid aside for music and fans, turns into this... She never deserved SUCH horrible cruelty from the papparazzi, magazines, and even us! Come on, yes she isn't the best role'model out there, but she has created 4 magnificant CDs that hold stupendous songs, that have entertained us for years! She even has a career in acting, and as well made a couple of very good movies. When you think of singers, pop divas, you think of her, I know it. She has that position because she's a true starlet, that will make music history! People do this to her because she is #1 and they love hearing all the drama that Britney has suffered. MmmHmmm, okay she put a baby on her lap while driving, on the magazine... But, when Ashley from across the street gives pot to her new born baby, it doesn't make it into magazines, because she isn't considered "important", and no one wants to read that because they don't know her! When celebs have trouble of tehir own, we LOVE to hear it, because we envy their famousness and money, so we love to see their downfalls.

People are mean about all celebrities. It might not be jealousy, it's just someone that is in the public eye and an easy target. People today keep so much anger and hatred inside that they let it out on random people that don't deserve it. It's sad really.

I believe that people are mean to her is because they are so judgmental that they can't see past there won faults in life . So they just pick on her who here is a prefect mother that has never did anything wrong .For me i don't like her music but that does not mean that I am going to poke my noise in her life . Unfortunately, people in the entertainment business live in glass houses, and their actions are open to public scrutiny. It is a shame that we judge people in the public eye more harshly than we would, say, someone in our own family. But we do.

Usually, entertainers who get to the top of their profession develop a thick skin. They come to realize that even negative publicity is publicity and as long as their names are being splashed all over the tabloids, that means more exposure.

Don't feel sorry for Britney. She can take care of herself.
